Our Story

Built from the ground up,
crafted to last

Master Masonry Concrete Construction was built on a foundation of real trade experience. Our founder completed a full building apprenticeship in the UK, where he learned the craft from the ground up, working on houses in conditions that tested every skill he had. That early training shaped a standard of workmanship that has never changed.

After emigrating to the United States, he saw an opportunity to bring that same level of skill to Southern California. In 1995, shortly after the Northridge earthquake shook the region, Master Masonry Concrete Construction opened its doors. The timing was meaningful. Homeowners needed reliable, skilled tradespeople they could trust to rebuild and restore. We were ready to do exactly that.

"Absolutely great experience with James and his crew replacing half our garage floor that was badly cracked. While I never had the pleasure of meeting James in person, he gave me a good price based on photos and detailed description. Very easy to deal with. His crew arrived on time and was super helpful getting the area taped off. They demo'd, installed rebar, and poured the new floor, leaving everything cleaner than they found it (yes, really). Beautiful work. Very happy with the experience!"

"James is one of the best contractors I have dealt with. I would go to 6 or more stars for Master Masonry if possible. His crew, his professionalism, his deposit and payment requirements, THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK, his supervision ( which was not really needed since his guys are pro's themselves) and i can go on.............He built a wall for me that was 50 feet long and did it timely as he promised. Crew kept area clean and safe since the wall was near a sidewalk. People should realize all these qualities have value attached to them for a non-stressful job completion and that's the reason I would work with James again and again and again..........."
